Background

The founder of DaCorsi & Placencio, P.C., Mr. DaCorsi was admitted to practice law in the State of California in 1970. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Economics from California State University, Los Angeles in 1966. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Creighton University School of Law in 1969. Mr. DaCorsi began his legal career in 1970 in Los Angeles. During the 1990s, DaCorsi & Placencio, P.C.'s Las Vegas office was opened and is now a thriving practice in its own right.

As the senior partner and trial expert at DaCorsi & Placencio, P.C., Mr. DaCorsi has tried cases to successful conclusions throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona. Over his 34 years of litigation experience, Mr. DaCorsi has studied an extensive amount of medicine relating to traumatic injuries and has remained current in his legal education in his areas of practice.

DENISE PLACENCIO

Background

Denise has lived in Los Angeles her whole life and has strong community ties. She  graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1993, receiving a B.A. in Liberal Arts. She attended Southwestern University Law School, receiving her J.D. in 1996. Denise was awarded the American Jurisprudence award in Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions while at Southwestern. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Notre Dame High School as well as Church of the Valley.

Over the course of her  legal career, Denise has focused on litigation, both commercial and civil, and all areas of family law matters. She is a Member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association. Denise is a  volunteer mediator for Los Angeles Superior Courts' VAST settlement teams. Denise has been specially recoginized by the San Fernando Valley Bar Association for commitment to the Court, legal community and profession of law and by judges in Los Angeles County for her volunteer efforts.

Legal Experience

Denise has litigated cases at all levels from the Los Angeles Superior Court to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Her practice involves a wide range of areas, both plaintiff and defense, including family law matters of all types, commercial and civil litigation, and employment law. Denise has worked in the legal filed in Michigan, Nevada, and California.

Jason grew up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and attended the University of South Alabama in Mobile, receiving a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 1995. He moved to California in 1998 to attend Chapman University School of Law in Orange. Jason has focused his practice on litigation in a wide variety of practice areas.
